Easy To Make Homemade Suet Recipe
This recipe is easy to make and costs less than the store bought suets, but best of all - the birds love it!
Melt together:
2 C Lard
1 C Peanut Butter
Add 2 C cornmeal. Can also add, nuts, rainsins, crushed cereal or oatmeal.
Place in freezer overnight. Ready to add to your suet feeders.
Tip: Use and old shoe box lid lined with wax paper as a mold (choose a size that will match your feeder) Ready to cut into size for that suet basket!
