Acurite Wireless Thermometer and clock displays outdoor temperature with the AcuRite Wireless Thermometer and the time with the Projection Clock. This small alarm clock offers you weather information before you even get out of bed. The fist line has the time, received from WWVB, the radio station in conjunction with the atomic clock in Fort Collins, Colorado. The antenna in your clock can receive this signal from up to 2,000 miles away for the most accurate timekeeping. An icon on the left side of the time indicates whether the WWVB signal has been received, and an icon of the continental United States on the right of the time displays your time zone. Under the time zone map is the date. The second line notes the outdoor temperature in your choice of Fahrenheit or Celsius, received from an included outdoor transmitter placed up to one hundred feet away. The other side of the display has the indoor temperature, again in your choice of Fahrenheit or Celsius.
This unit also has an alarm function. When the alarm is set, an icon between the indoor and outdoor temperatures appears. A large snooze button on top of the clock will allow eight more minutes of sleep when pressed after the alarm sounds. When pressed when the alarm does not sound, the snooze button activates the projection. The first press projects the time in red light numerals onto a ceiling or wall. The second shows the outdoor temperature, and the third press has the indoor temperature. The projection arm can be rotated to project onto a wall or ceiling, and a rotate slide switch on the side of the arm flips the projection. A focus wheel on the arm allows you to focus the numbers with just one finger. Place the clock on your nightstand or table for easy viewing, and wall mount the transmitter outdoors. The main unit uses two AA batteries or the included AC adaptor for power, while the transmitter runs on two AA batteries only. The silver and black casing gives the piece a modern look in your home.
